Sea Of Green Show

Welcome to the first Annual Rosenthal Sea of Green. This is our Saint Patty’s day/Spring themed show for all ages. This show is mostly RNG judged with Titles being effort based, judged off of your own gallery and against others. Before you get scared let me tell you now. There are three titles that can be won. That means THREE grand prizes. One is effort based, judged off of Your Own Gallery, the second is effort based and judged between all Entries. And the last is the overall count of effort points.

Now! To the Show!

Dates:
This show runs from March 1st till April 30th and all classes are judged the same day, no staggered ending states this time.

All images must be done By You. No Commissioned works or free to use lines/backgrounds.
No Premade/Reused  lines or backgrounds. Everything must be fresh and new, made for this show only.
Pre Registration not Required. Though it is nice to have your entry number ahead of time, it is not required. If you wish to register your entries in the show ahead of time, Go to the Entrants and Registration journal found and follow the instructions found there.
You many enter as many horses as you like. You may enter any breed and horse you want. No magic or extra gifts are to be used though.
You may enter as many classes as you like. A horse can only be entered once into a class, but into as many classes you would like to handle. (ex. Horse 'A' is entered into all classes, but cannot be in the Halter class twice.)
RNG Judging. Places 1-3 are judged via RNG list and will be posted upon judging. This is done for every class, so there will be multiple 1st places etc.
Effort Based Judging. The three titles are won via Effort based points. We will be using the same point system as we did for the Christmas Carol show, those can be found in the Judging and Prizes journal.
Champion will be judged against your Own Gallery, with the person earning the most points on an image entry winning.
Grand Champion is judged against other Entrants, the one with the highest points on an image entry wins.
Best In Show is won by the horse with the most overall effort points. It is handy to enter more than one class in order to win this title, but that is not always needed.
Keep in mind a person can only win champion or grand champion, not both. however the winner of champ or grand champ can also win best in show
Point Ties. If there happens to be two or more horses with the same amount of points at the end of the show, we will host a poll where people may vote for the winner.
Rosenthal Bonus. Rosenthal horses that are entered gain a +1 to each Show entry image (not bonus images) for being an official Rosenthal Show Entry.

How to Enter:

Submitting your entry. You can submit your entry images below in the comments. Be sure to post the following in order for the entry to count. If this isn’t filled out in the comment, the comment will be ignored.

Class Specific Rules:

Halter: All Ages welcome. Halter must be visible. May be headshot or fullbody. Must be shaded and with a background.
Liberty: All ages welcome. May be a headshot or fullbody.  Must be shaded and with a background.
Show your Pride: Ages 5+ Only. Handler/ Rider must be visible. Fullbody images only, with Background. Does not have to be a shaded image or landscape/detailed bg. Something Green, spring or Irish related is to be shown on the horse (costume, clover, tack, paint, etc). Horse is to be doing something; showing a skill, dressage, racing, anything you can think of but is not to be standing still or be doing a halter/liberty type pose. Be Creative! You will earn more effort points for it!
Little Leppy’s: Age 4- (Foals) only. Handler must be visible. Fullbody images only. Doesn ot have to be shaded. Background does not have to be a detailed or landscape BG but there must be a BG of some sort. As with Show your Pride, the horse is to be showing a skill and not be doing a halter or liberty pose. Be creative!

Remember in the end, this is an effort based show! Being creative will earn you extra points and get you closer to winning a title!

Another way to earn extra points are through Bonus images. These can range in anything from Interacting with other participants, training (one training image per horse), grooming and preparing for the show. There are many ways to do bonus images, be creative but do not be offended if we do not think an image suits as a bonus image. This may not happen at all, but if we find you are making numerous images of similar things (one image is braiding the mane, another brushing the horse, another walking to ring, etc) we will opt to allow only 1 image to count as the bonus. We will always discuss the thoughts behind our actions and explain them to you so things are still fair.
